Hi, I'm Daniel — the heart behind A Walk a Day - NJ!

Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me; it’s a passion and a lifestyle. Transparently, caring for your best friends saved me! I’ve always had a special connection with pets, and being able to care for them has given me the purpose I so desperately have been looking for during a tough stretch in my life. In return I hope to deliver a passionate and dependable service for fellow pet parents.

I believe that every pet deserves personalized attention, a clean and comfortable environment, and someone who truly understands their emotional and physical needs. Whether I’m walking a high-energy pup, snuggling with a shy cat, or caring for a pet with special needs, I always lead with patience, responsibility, and care.

What sets me apart is the little things: fresh water bowls, clean play spaces, structured walks, plenty of mental stimulation, and consistent communication with pet parents. I also have experience administering medications and working with animals who need a bit of extra attention or patience.

I understand how hard it can be to leave your furry friend in someone else’s care. That’s why I go out of my way to make both pets and their humans feel comfortable, safe, and informed every step of the way
